Kevin Barnes

Kevin currently serves as Director of the Resource Management Department which is made up of five Divisions: Planning & Zoning, Building Regulations, Environmental, Building Operations and General Services. Prior to being appointed Director, Kevin served as the County Stormwater Engineer for 15 years overseeing the daily activities of the Environmental Division. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla and worked for 10 years as a consulting engineer primarily in land development and drainage design. Kevin is a Professional Engineer and Certified Floodplain Manager and currently serves as Vice-President of the Missouri Floodplain & Stormwater Managers Association.
